Dr. Susan Korb Bernstein is the owner of Divorce Coach Plus and has 10+ years of experience as a CDC Certified Divorce and Custody Coach and Certified High Conflict Divorce and Special Needs Coach. Susan is a full time single mom of three and received accolades for the international best selling book Soul Parent in which she contributed a chapter. Susan earned her bachelors, masters and doctorate in Education Leadership and Child Development and was a school teacher, administrator, and college professor before entering the divorce professional world. This background helps her clients immensely in custody battles and parenting plans including her niche of “divorce with families that have special needs children”. Susan is the co-founder of www.divorcewithspecialneedschildren.com website and Facebook community which is now known for its annual Summit. Susan teaches the graduate Mastermind course for Divorce Coaches and is an instructor for two international divorce coach certification programs. She speaks at numerous local and national events and is often a guest presenter and podcaster as well as retreat, summit and support group coordinator. Susan is known as the coach that other coaches and attorneys hire to get them through their own complex divorces as well as millionaires, billionaires, celebrities and politicians. She takes on the divorces that no one else wants to touch with custody battles, hidden money and domestic abuse. Dr. Bernstein is the Director of the NY chapter of the National Association of Divorce Professionals (NADP) and co-director of the NADP special needs divorce chapter. She is on the advisory board for Vesta Divorce and runs their NY/NJ HUB.
