Divorce and Family Mediator
I am the founder of Alliance Mediation Services. Before becoming a mediator, I practiced law in the financial services industry and served in public policy roles with both the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Department of the Treasury. That experience gave me a strong foundation in analyzing complex financial issues and explaining difficult concepts in a way that is clear, practical, and understandable. Divorce often requires people to make important financial decisions while they are under enormous emotional stress, making even routine financial questions feel overwhelming. I particularly enjoy helping couples navigate financially complex divorces, where careful analysis and thoughtful guidance can make an overwhelming process feel more manageable. My approach is client-centered, empathetic, practical, and organized. I believe people can make informed decisions only when they understand their options, feel heard, and have a structured process that keeps them moving toward resolution rather than becoming stuck in conflict. When I first trained as a mediator, I never imagined I would ultimately find my way to divorce and family mediation. What surprised me was seeing the difference mediation can make during one of the most difficult periods in a family's life. I have seen how a thoughtful mediation process can help couples reduce conflict, make informed decisions together, and lay the groundwork for healthier relationships after divorce. It has become some of the most meaningful work of my career, and I consider it a privilege to help clients move forward with greater clarity, dignity, and confidence.
