Some of the most expensive financial mistakes in divorce happen not because assets are hidden, but because they are misunderstood. A divorce settlement may look fair on paper, but not all assets have the same after tax value, growth potential, or long term impact. Decisions involving retirement accounts, stock options, executive compensation, real estate, and support can affect your financial future for decades. Most people are asked to make these decisions without fully understanding the financial tradeoffs. My role is to help you understand the financial consequences of your choices before agreements become final. Together, we evaluate settlement options, identify potential risks, and develop strategies that support both the immediate settlement and the future you want to build. As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), I specialize in the financial complexities of divorce and major life transitions. With more than two decades of experience in financial auditing, corporate finance, employee benefits, and financial planning, I bring a unique perspective to every case. My background includes auditing registered investment advisers and investment funds, serving as Financial Controller for a technology company, and advising employees on retirement plans, equity and deferred compensation. I prepare settlement analyses, marital balance sheets, cash flow projections, and tax aware financial models that help clients, attorneys, and mediators make informed financial decisions. Beyond the divorce process, I help clients create a long term financial strategy so they can rebuild wealth, invest with purpose, plan for retirement, and move forward with confidence. Because while divorce may end one chapter of your life, your financial future is still being written.
