Divorce Financial Professional
About
I started my professional life in accounting, then in tax compliance for commodity futures traders and medical doctors in Geneva Switzerland. Then I experienced a nasty divorce following 15 years of domestic violence, and my 3rd last and dream husband allowed me to start over my life in the United States (California 2014-2022; then Arizona since 2023). I did a lot of trauma healing, and recently decided to get back in the finances industry from a different perspective: teaching people how money works, financial literacy, because it is not taught in schools, and still is paramount to manage life ups and downs, including marriage, divorce, new life, death, estate planning, and retirement. I joined WealthWave's mission to eradicate financial illiteracy in 20 million Americans' lives by 2035. Today, what I bring you is a peaceful, knowledgeable, trauma-informed presence, with a large contact list of qualified professionals to help you navigate and understand "this money thing" especially if financial abuse was one of the things you experienced and you made the decision to break free from with this divorce. Now what is financial abuse? - Asset Concealment and Hiding Funds - Withholding Essential Funds - Sabotaging Employment or Independence - Coerced or Fraudulent Debt - Post-Separation Harassment Financial abuse is a common tactic used by abusive or toxic partners to gain power and control in a relationship. The forms of financial abuse may be subtle or overt, but in general, include tactics to conceal information, limit the victim’s access to assets, or reduce accessibility to the family finances. Regardless of what you are going through, let's start with the beginning: financial literacy, so that you may understand what has been going on and what will be going on if nothing changes today.
