Cary Jacobson

Cary Jacobson is the founder and managing partner of Jacobson Family Law. She's a certified mediator and a trained Collaborative Divorce attorney, and she has been named a Super Lawyers in Family Law every year since 2016. She earned her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Cary's practice focuses on divorce mediation, uncontested divorce, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and estate planning. She uses flat fees, and her approach follows her firm's motto, "Keeping the Drama Out of Divorce." She also serves as a court-appointed Best Interest Attorney and sits on the board of her local Collaborative Professionals group. Cary has seen how litigation can tear families apart and leave children caught in the middle. That's why she's committed to helping couples settle their differences outside the courtroom. She shares that message as co-author of Divorce Decoded and host of the Drama-Free Divorce Podcast.
