I have been practicing law since 1979. I am Florida Bar Board Certified in Marital and Family Law, I am a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and I an Accredited Collaborative Professional with the Florida Academy of Collaborative Professionals, an organization I helped to create. I am an Adjunct Professor of Collaborative Law at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, I train professionals in the Collaborative Process, I frequently lecture on the Collaborative Process, and I have had numerous articles published on the Collaborative Process. I also have prepared hundreds of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. I am passionate about helping my clients resolve their family differences in a peaceful and private manner. I refuse to litigate because it is such a destructive and public process. My goal is to help my clients get to the best possible position given the limitations on their life at the time of a divorce. I help them resolve their differences using creative solutions, regardless of what may or may not happen in court. With respect to Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements, I encourage my clients to be creative and try to make commitments that are sustainable. As I tell all my prenup clients, the goal is to sign it, put it away and never look at it again because their life is good.
