Coparenting Coach
About
I’m Rita Morris, M.Ed., LMHC, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Co-Parent Coach, Mediator, and founder of **The CoParents Path**. For more than 20 years, I’ve worked with individuals and families navigating difficult relationships, family transitions, and conflict. Today, I specialize in helping separated and divorced parents navigate the part of co-parenting that no parenting plan can fully anticipate: **real life.** The difficult text. The unexpected schedule change. The disagreement about what a child needs. The recurring conflict that keeps pulling parents and sometimes their professionals back into the same cycle. I work with one or both parents to build clearer communication, stronger boundaries, practical decision-making strategies, and workable systems for raising children across two homes. I also value collaboration with attorneys, mediators, therapists, parenting coordinators, and other divorce professionals so families receive the right support at the right time. My approach combines more than two decades of clinical experience with training in mediation and co-parent coaching, as well as a deeply personal understanding of what ongoing parental conflict can feel like for a child. I believe successful co-parenting isn’t about becoming friends or agreeing on everything. It’s about creating enough structure, clarity, and stability that children are free to be children not participants in the conflict. That’s the heart of **The CoParents Path: Change the Pattern. Protect Their Childhood.**
