Tamara Rowles

I'm Tamara Rowles and I provide concierge counseling to executives and professionals who are facing challenging family transitions such as divorce, separation, and generational family disputes. I'm also the creator of Divorce Wave, the first and only 24/7 on-demand divorce support app (divorcewave.com).

I’m passionate about helping clients not only “get through” the divorce process, but to see it as an opportunity to rebuild their lives with intentionality, purpose, and joy.

I spent the bulk of my twenty-year career as a litigation attorney defending Fortune 500 clients in “big law” until my own divorce transformed my life and career path. I understand the fear, uncertainty, and the feeling that nothing is within your control. I guide my clients through the process with compassion, civility, and hope.

I offer collaborative mediation and executive divorce consulting services through Truce Resolutions, a sanctuary for divorcing spouses who want to end their marriages with respect, civility, and hope for a more intentional and joyful second act.

In addition to my background in law, I am a licensed real estate sales agent, a certified mediator, a former community podcast host, and I serve as Commissioner on the Santa Barbara County Civil Service Commission and as a mediator on the Santa Barbara Superior Court CADRe dispute resolution panel. I am also a classically trained chef, conversant in Mandarin after living in Beijing, and once upon a time I was a grape farmer and started a wine label. I have joint custody of my two amazing children, sole custody of a rescue mutt named Harold, and a wonderful life partner who, as a functional medicine physician, keeps me happy, inspired, and on the cutting edge of health.
